About Alex
Alex Baker (He/Him) is a multi-instrumentalist, music director, and arranger originally from Cullowee, North Carolina. His work as a music director spans premiere New York City venues, including 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and Don’t Tell Mama, and he recently served as a collaborator for the off-Broadway production Dream on, Baransky!.
Equally active in composition and orchestration, Alex music directed, arranged, and orchestrated the original musical Has Anyone Seen My Life?. His studio credits include orchestrations for two professional pop albums, Tantamount and Ship of Theseus, recorded with a Los Angeles studio orchestra. Additionally, Alex is an accomplished arranger for Collegiate A Capella and a wide range of multidisciplinary musical projects.
